The Brussels Region recently gave us an Innovation award for best application for Marketing, Management and Strategy. To give them their due the Region has been very supportive of Attentio over the last years. We would like to thank them for this, it means a lot to us. I would like also to thank our team who puts our technology and methodology together…
Recently, the Brussels Region (and Belgium as a whole) has at last identified that start ups and entrepreneurship are important components of a healthy economy and given its central location in Europe, Belgium should be a great place to set up a business. They have reduced bureaucracy, (even more for the future, I hope) and have new funds for technology and biotech developments. I have also noticed that there is an increasing number of interesting businesses across Belgium with Facebox emerging one the largest European social networks, Drupal started in Belgium (other tech start ups here) and a plethora of biotech companies such as Algonomics. Given an increasing ecosystem of start ups it could create a situation were more entrepreneurs and exciting businesses will emerge… Perhaps it won’t be so difficult to name famous Belgians in the future, at least when it comes to the Business sector ;)
